To give you an idea of how this Matron role would look and feel, here are some areas you can expect to work in:
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to the MDT on shift
- Observations & competency assessments
- Utilise complex clinical skills such as tracheostomy care and ventilator care
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further your clinical knowledge and promote nursing
- Support the service during an exciting phase of transformation
